“I love my mountains and that is why I chose my job as a guide in Trentino. During the year, I also lead trekking trips in Umbria, in Crete (Greece) and in the Val d’Ossola, where I accompany groups in the mountains at the border with Switzerland. I discovered them during ReStartAlp, as I explored the area at weekends” explains Luca.

“The course was useful also as it allowed me to gain awareness of my limits and try to overcome them. When the contact person for the project for the Italian Down Syndrome People Association asked me if the kids would be able to tackle an itinerary with a 600-metre height difference, I confidently answered yes, but I knew it would be an interesting challenge, which I was able to win thanks to the tools I had acquired”.
