“Following a first phase devoted to selecting the most suitable partners, the second step focused on human relations – explains Gobetti – Butéga Valtellina is not just made up of us, three partners, but is a large network sharing values and visions. It is not based upon a commercial agreement, but, rather, is kept together by mutual trust. The network is the tool we have chosen to enhance cooperation between and among several businesses and users. Networking, to us, means “knitting” a hyper-connected human fabric, and this is leading to wonderful achievements”.

The Coronavirus emergency of spring 2020 slowed down the business’s growth and the activity consolidation phase. Restoration works at Butéga Valtellina’s premises started on 20 February 2020. “Our business is based in Tirano, in a strategic position. We have available a 2,600-square-meter building developing over three floors, which in the past hosted a winery. The building was purchased for us by a benefactor, a local entrepreneur who believes in this project” – says Gobetti – “Part of the building will be equipped as a processing laboratory. Processing is a service we offer our partner producers, so that they do not need to look for new facilities and equipment, nor manage bureaucratic aspects”.
